WE NEED TOOLS!

Here are a list of tools that you should consider having on hand to do most Repairing or Mods
on most any 50cc to 300cc imported from China. Most can be done with a modest assortment
of tools
but some "special" tools come in handy for others.
You can go nuts with MORE TOOLS (ARR, Arr,) but,
We'll keep it to the essentials here. Remember, it's all about keeping costs down and staying that purchasing genius!

-Metric Sockets-An assortment from 4mm to 18mm (You'll need a very large socket (38-41mm) for the flat nut on your clutch)
-Socket wratchet and adaptors- (You'll need a couple adaptors to go from your small sockets to the larger ones)
-Screw Drivers-Flat head and Phillips Screw Drivers of all tip sizes and shaft lengths.
*Tip: fat ones, skinny ones and don't forget the short ones but use the RIGHT one! These screws, strip easily!!
-Open/closed end Metric wrenches- 4mm-18mm- (There are several types, offset, wratchet etc, whatever you like best)
-Wire cutter/stripper-
-Air Impact gun/Compressor- (There are some cheap electric ones (under$100) that we hear work well but be sure it does 300flbs or more!)
-Voltmeter- (Don't worry, if you don't know how to work one, we'll only use it for basic measurements on volts).

Get In The Garage

At KidNme, We encourage you to get out in the garage with your son, daughter or grand children and "Tinker" with your Buggy, Scooter or ATV but BE SAFE!

We ride Scooters, buggies and ATV's (Really, anything with wheels, tracks, skis etc) with our families and we're always working on making them more reliable and enjoyable.
Doing your own repairs and Mods is very rewarding. It's also a great way to teach your Son, Daughter or Grand Children a
self reliant, "Git er' Dun" attitude and pass on some practical knowledge and memories, they can take with them into adulthood.

So, get out there in the garage and have some fun! You may learn more than you expect!
